Job Title: Cloud Specialist

Overview:

The position involves working as a senior cloud specialist, responsible for designing and implementing cloud-based solutions. We are seeking an experienced professional with expertise in cloud technologies to lead the development of innovative cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement cloud architecture designs that meet business requirements
  • Design and deploy highly available and scalable cloud systems
  • Work on cloud cost analysis and provide recommendations for optimization
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth implementation of cloud projects
  • Manage and maintain existing cloud infrastructure
  • Conduct proof-of-concepts (POCs) for new cloud technologies
  • Develop and manage Docker images and containers
  • Implement monitoring and logging tools to ensure system reliability
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in cloud computing

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least 7+ years of experience in cloud engineering with hands-on coding skills
  • Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices
  • Experience with AWS Cloud certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional)
  • Hands-on experience in Terraform and other Infrastructure as Code tools
  • Proficient in Linux/UNIX operating systems
  • Strong knowledge of database administration and management
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
