Salary: $140,000 - $170,000 per year.

About the Job

We are seeking a seasoned Mendix Enterprise Architect Lead who will play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing enterprise-level applications using the Mendix platform. You will be responsible for leading a team of developers, ensuring best practices, and delivering scalable and efficient solutions to meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Application Design & Development: Lead the design and development of robust, scalable Mendix applications, working closely with business analysts, UX designers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Technical Leadership: Mentor and guide a team of Mendix developers, conducting code reviews and ensuring adherence to coding standards, while staying updated with the latest Mendix features and industry trends.
  • Solution Architecture: Architect end-to-end solutions using Mendix, ensuring they meet enterprise-level scalability, security, and performance standards, and creating and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality applications, implementing and managing integrations with third-party systems and APIs, and conducting thorough testing (unit, integration, system) to ensure the quality and reliability of developed applications.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous testing to guarantee the quality and reliability of applications, and continuously improve processes and solutions.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience:
  • 7+ years of experience in software development.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with the Mendix platform.
  • Certification: Mendix Advanced or Expert certification is highly valued.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of Mendix development and architecture, as well as experience with Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and RESTful APIs.
  • Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, etc.).
  • Soft Skills:
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication and leadership abilities, and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in Agile methodologies.
  • Knowledge of other low-code platforms (like OutSystems, Appian).
  • Experience with database systems (SQL, NoSQL).
