Software Quality Assurance Specialist

As a meticulous Software Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of software products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Quality Verification: Conduct thorough testing to guarantee optimal system performance and detect defects early on.
  • Test Planning and Strategy: Develop comprehensive test plans and cases based on user stories and specifications to ensure thorough coverage.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with developers, product owners, and designers to understand requirements and provide feedback through effective communication and collaboration.
  • CI/CD Integration: Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines to automate the testing process and ensure seamless integration with development environments.
  • Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects to prevent recurrence and implement corrective actions.
  • Quality Metrics and Reporting: Monitor key quality metrics and provide regular updates on test results and defect trends to inform decision-making.
  • Continuous Improvement: Implement process improvements and promote best practices in software quality assurance to drive excellence.
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Facilitate UAT by coordinating resources and guidance for end-users to ensure successful product adoption.

Required Skills:

  • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools like Selenium, Cypress, Appium, Playwright.
  • Proven track record in creating and executing test plans and strategies.
  • Experience in performance, load, and stress testing.
  • Familiarity with integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Background in defect management and root cause analysis.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 4-7 years relevant testing experience.
