Job Opportunity: Hydraulics & Irrigation System Design Expert

As a seasoned Hydraulics & Irrigation System Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality designs for dams, barrages, canals, and micro-irrigation systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design hydraulic structures such as dams, barrages, weirs, spillways, and intake systems using industry-standard software and engineering codes.
  • Develop efficient micro-irrigation system layouts, pipe network designs, and hydraulic profiles for water distribution.
  • Prepare detailed hydraulic modeling, flow calculations, and hydraulic grade line diagrams for irrigation and water management projects.
  • Produce accurate drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or equivalent design tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including survey, GIS, and geotechnical teams for integrated project designs.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in hydraulic modeling tools like AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Water gem, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of hydraulic principles, irrigation techniques, flow analysis, and pipe hydraulics.
  • Familiarity with relevant guidelines, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent technical documentation, report writing, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate will possess 5-7 years of experience in designing and drawing dams, barrages, canals, micro-irrigation systems, and related structures. A Bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering, with specialization in Hydraulics or Water Resources Engineering is required.
