About Performance Test Engineering

We are seeking a skilled Performance Test Engineer to join our team. This role involves guiding business and project teams in identifying performance testing scope, developing a thorough understanding of business infrastructure, and communicating regularly with business/development team managers.

The successful candidate will have experience working with onsite/offshore models, proficient in Performance Testing tools like Neo Load & LoadRunner, and hands-on experience using Fiddler, Chrome Developer tools, and converting them to LoadRunner or Neo Load scripts.

This role requires the ability to design workload models, conduct performance test execution, monitor tests (AppDynamics, Thousand Eyes, Splunk), analyze performance test results, prepare performance test reports, and present these to development/business teams for approvals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet with business or project teams to identify performance testing scope.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of business infrastructure.
  • Regularly communicate with business/development team managers.
  • Create Non-Functional Requirement Document.
  • Prepare performance test strategy & Test Plan.
  • Evaluate Test readiness – Environment, Test Data and Test Scripts.
  • Hands on experience using Fiddler, Chrome Developer tools and converting them to LoadRunner or Neo Load scripts.
  • Design workload model.
  • Conduct performance test execution.
  • Test monitoring (AppDynamics, Thousand Eyes, Splunk).
  • Analyze performance test results.
  • Prepare performance test report.
  • Presentation to development/business team and secure approvals.
