**Loss Forecaster**: A key role in driving business growth by identifying and mitigating potential financial losses.

  • Collect and analyze large datasets to identify trends and patterns that impact our credit portfolio, focusing on IFRS9, CECL, and ECL.
  • Craft strategic dashboards to track performance metrics, drilling down into the impact of various credit strategies on our portfolio.
  • Develop and maintain robust loss forecasting processes for all consumer products, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
  • Provide analytical support to enhance collections strategy, building frameworks for critical KPIs and reporting to senior management.
  • Use data mining techniques to extract valuable insights from loan characteristics and performance data, informing business decisions.
  • Utilize data visualization tools to present relevant information to stakeholders, facilitating informed decision-making.
  • Maintain awareness of industry trends and competitor landscape, supporting business development and long-term planning.
  • Correlate macro-economic conditions with internal loan performance, enabling recession readiness and strategic planning.
  • Leverage forecasting outputs in the monthly allowance process, identifying areas requiring qualitative adjustments.
  • Collaborate with key partners to ensure forecast and allowance assumptions are accurate, supporting planning and budgeting exercises.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in credit risk management, analytics, or a related field.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in a quantitative discipline (Statistics, Math, Engineering, Economics).
  • Strong technical skills in SQL, SAS, R, and Python programming languages.
  • Proficiency in Business Intelligence/data visualization tools (Tableau, Excel).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including project documentation and presentation.
  • Prior experience in the Financial/FinTech industry is advantageous.
  • Background in loss forecasting and collections analytics, allowance, and stress testing is beneficial.

Mandatory Skills:

IFRS9, CECL, ECL, SQL, Python are essential requirements for this role.
