About This Role:

We are seeking an experienced software developer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of complex applications.

This role involves hands-on experience in application development and architecture, design and development, security vulnerability remediation and fixes, co-ordination with QA teams and partner teams, regular status updates, maintenance and business-as-usual activities, and identifying and remediating security vulnerabilities.

The ideal candidate should be able to understand business requirements and translate them into technical designs, possess strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to work independently with minimum supervision, and lead by example, motivating team members to produce excellent results.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Designing and developing high-quality software solutions using Java, Spring, and other relevant technologies
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements and deliverables
  • Maintaining and improving existing codebases to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance
  • Identifying and mitigating security vulnerabilities and bugs to ensure a stable and secure environment
  • Communicating effectively with stakeholders to provide timely updates on project progress and any issues that arise

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in Java development, with a strong focus on backend systems and enterprise-level applications
  • Hands-on experience with Spring Framework, Hibernate, and other relevant technologies
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycles, including Agile methodologies
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to debug and resolve complex technical issues
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Prior experience with cloud-based technologies, such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform
  • Experience with containerization tools, such as Docker
