Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with experience in designing and implementing scalable data pipelines using AWS services. The ideal candidate should have expertise in Glue, EMR, Lambda, and DynamoDB.

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

  • Designing, developing, and implementing end-to-end data engineering solutions from scratch on the AWS platform.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and understand business objectives.
  • Architecting and implementing data models and schemas that align with best practices and optimize query performance.
  • Building robust and scalable data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources into target systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in data engineering, specifically in building and maintaining data pipelines from scratch.
  • Strong proficiency in AWS services such as Glue, EMR, Lambda, DynamoDB, Postgres.
  • Expertise in data modelling, schema design, and relational and non-relational database concepts.
