Job Title: Emergency Response Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to emergency and general cruelty-case calls and e-mails in a prompt and appropriate manner.
  • Arrange timely, hands-on help for animals in need in Mumbai and Delhi with the assistance of senior staff members and office assistants, in accordance with standard operating procedures and in consultation with relevant supervisors.
  • Coordinate effectively with approved animal-protection organisations, volunteers, activists, government bodies, and designated officials to facilitate emergency rescues in remote areas across the country.
  • File police complaints and First Information Reports, visit relevant agencies and case sites when needed, and perform similar tasks as necessary and assigned.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree from a recognised institution.
  • Voluntary or other experience handling emergency and cruelty-case responses for animals a plus.
  • Computer proficiency.
  • Fluency in Hindi and English.
  • Exceptional organisational and time-management skills, including multi-tasking.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
