Role: PHP Developer

We are seeking a talented and experienced PHP developer to contribute to the development, maintenance, and improvement of ERP horizon.

This role is a great opportunity for someone with a strong foundation in PHP and experience working with popular frameworks like Yii2 and CodeIgniter.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, and maintain new features for ERP horizon
  • Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers to ensure high-quality solutions
  • Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code
  • Debug and troubleshoot existing code
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest PHP trends and technologies
  • Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing sessions
  • Research and implement new technologies
  • Should possess PHP, MySQL, Jquery, Responsive, and JavaScript skills
  • Strong self-motivation with an ability to work on multiple concurrent tasks
  • Candidate should have strong MySQL and PHP coding skills
  • Sound knowledge in HTML and CSS
  • Ability to listen to personnel, understand their needs, propose alternatives, and specify the best solution
  • Good communication skills
  • Write clean, efficient, and secure PHP code following best practices and coding standards
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues reported by QA or end-users
  • Optimize application performance by implementing efficient database queries, caching mechanisms, and server-side technologies
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve development processes and techniques
  • Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing sessions, and team meetings to ensure code quality and alignment with project goals

Preferred Candidate Profile:

  • 1+ years of experience as a PHP developer
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts in PHP
  • Familiarity with popular PHP frameworks like Yii2, CodeIgniter, Laravel
  • Experience with SQL databases (MySQL)
  • Experience with version control systems (Subversion control and Git)
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
