English Teacher Position

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced English teacher to join our team in Bangalore. This is a full-time position requiring a minimum of 4 years to a maximum of 6 years of teaching experience.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in English language teaching and be committed to providing quality education and holistic student development.

  • Proven experience as an English teacher with 4 to 6 years in educational roles, demonstrating the ability to teach diverse student groups effectively.
  • Excellent command of the English language to deliver comprehensive and understandable lessons effectively.

Qualifications and Skills:

Mandatory qualifications include a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) program and proficiency in handling curricula related to Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) standards and execution. Exceptional communication skills to foster an engaging and interactive learning environment for students.

A background in teaching within primary secondary education aligning with Podar Network standards and expectations is required. Strong organizational skills to manage classroom activities, lesson planning, and student assessments efficiently.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver effective English instruction based on curriculum standards and established teaching methodologies.
  • Design and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse student learning needs and preferences.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to facilitate academic growth and improvement.
  • Manage classroom environments efficiently, fostering a positive and inclusive atmosphere for all students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school meetings and professional development opportunities.
  • Engage with parents and guardians to communicate students' progress, achievements, and areas for improvement.
  • Adapt teaching styles and methods to meet the diverse needs and abilities of all students in your classroom.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other required documentation in compliance with school policies.
