We are a leading global provider of content distribution, localization, accessibility, and mastering solutions to the media and entertainment industry.

The Team Lead in Subtitling Coordination oversees people management, growth, and development within the team. Key responsibilities include scheduling work, team utilization, performance monitoring, and coordinating projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise Localization Coordinators to ensure alignment with the team's vision.
  • Communicate expectations, goals, and feedback regularly, resolving concerns and issues proactively.
  • Liaise with the Translator Support team to report linguist pool health and plan capacity for rare languages.
  • Identify and address conflicts early, facilitating discussions and finding satisfactory solutions.
  • Develop the team's morale, attrition, development, coaching, and working with team members to communicate their performance and feedback.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to discuss progress and plan future activities.
  • Drive HR processes and policies within the team, supporting managers as needed.
  • Monitor project deadlines, KPIs, and SLAs, working with Assistant Managers to correct issues or negative trends.
  • Facilitate effective handovers across shifts and schedule work for your language group in Subtitling Coordination.
  • Maintain email compliance, ensuring timely responses to community support and freelancer emails.
  • Ensure all user payments are addressed in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • A graduate degree is required.
  • An excellent command of the English language is essential.
  • Good time management skills and excellent problem-solving skills are necessary.
  • A keen interest in the media industry is desirable.
