About this role, we are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Manager to lead and execute engagements across finance, valuations, due diligence, and tax advisory. This position requires both technical expertise and the ability to act as a trusted advisor to founders and investors.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Serve as a strategic financial partner to start-ups, overseeing budgeting, MIS reporting, cash flow, and investor communications.

  2. Build financial discipline and governance frameworks tailored for scaling businesses.

  3. Support valuations for fundraises, secondary transfers, and M&A transactions in compliance with relevant regulations.

  4. Lead buy-side/sell-side due diligence projects including financial health checks, revenue/margin analysis, working capital assessments, and historical reviews.

  5. Provide tax structuring advice for business models and transactions, including cross-border setups, holding structures, ESOPs, and exits.

  6. Manage multiple client engagements with professionalism and responsiveness.

  7. Mentor junior colleagues and ensure high-quality deliverables.

Qualifications:

  1. CA with 4–6 years of relevant experience in transaction advisory at a mid-tier boutique advisory or in a start-up finance team with exposure to FP&A and fundraise projects.

  2. Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards, taxation laws, financial modeling, and valuation principles.

  3. Proven track record in client servicing and team management.

  4. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-finance stakeholders.

  5. Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments.

  6. Prior experience working with start-ups or within the start-up ecosystem is highly preferred.
