Job Overview:

As a seasoned software engineer, you will be responsible for developing high-quality applications using Ruby on Rails. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement robust APIs, ensuring seamless integration with messaging/streaming platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable and efficient applications using Ruby on Rails best practices.
  • Implement security measures including bot mitigation using Cloudflare or similar services.
  • Collaborate with agile development teams to deliver projects on time.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to performance tuning and debugging.

Requirements:

  • 10-15 years of professional experience in Ruby on Rails development.
  • Strong knowledge of Ruby on Rails, Sinatra, and microservices-based architectures.
  • Experience working with messaging/streaming platforms like Kafka, ZooKeeper, and Thrift.
  • Familiarity with SOLR for search and AWS services (especially AWS SQS, hosting, and cloud infrastructure).
  • Proficiency in infrastructure monitoring tools, preferably Datadog.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in healthcare technology platforms.
