We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Level Designer to join our team in shaping the world of a story-driven puzzle adventure game.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a creative individual to design logical, engaging, and fun levels using Unreal Engine.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design Levels: Create engaging and challenging levels that transport players to new realms.
  • Collaborate with the Art Team: Work with the art team to integrate 3D assets into playable spaces, bringing our vision to life.
  • Iterate on Designs: Refine pacing, flow, and player guidance based on team and playtester feedback.
What You'll Learn:
  • PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE: Gain practical experience creating levels for a real indie project, from concept to playtesting.
  • UNREAL ENGINE SKILLS: Develop hands-on skills in Unreal Engine's level design and gameplay tools.
  • GAME DEVELOPMENT PIPELINE: Understand the importance of teamwork and iteration in the game development process.
Requirements:
  • Unreal Engine Basics: Familiarity with Unreal Engine basics, including blockouts, navigation, and simple Blueprint/C++ scripting.
  • Creative Problem-Solving: A creative problem-solver with a keen sense of pacing and player experience.
  • Enthusiasm for Games: Enthusiasm for games and a willingness to learn in a collaborative environment.
