Broadband Telecommunications Professional

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as an Estimator. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the broadband, telecom, and outside plant industry.

The successful candidate will have expertise in estimating within the broadband, telecom, or outside plant industry with a strong understanding of industry requirements for all outside plant engineering and construction needs.

A key responsibility of this role is to review customer provided Request for Proposals (RFPs) documents to gain a full understanding including project scope, RFP response requirements, project specifications, project schedule, and customer objectives.

The successful candidate will develop comprehensive estimate and bid preparation templates specifically tailored to each RFP project using expert-level proficiency in Excel.

This includes building cost breakdowns, high level schedules, risk registers, preliminary resource plans, and populating customer bid pricing forms pricing sheets for RFP submittals client submissions.

Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to gather necessary project information and ensure accurate estimates.

The successful candidate will conduct thorough analysis and research to identify potential cost-saving opportunities and risk mitigation strategies.

Candidates must possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.

In addition, they must be able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum 3 years' experience in commercial and/or industrial low voltage and/or fiber optic cabling project coordination and estimating as combined, related, and relevant experience.

Candidates should also have knowledge of construction materials, processes, trade practices and equipment.

OSHA 10, 30 Certifications are preferred.

Proficiency in using software suites such as Microsoft Office applications is required.
