Job Title: Senior Specialist
  • Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior Specialist to provide specialized medical care and expertise in diagnosing, treating, and managing diseases and conditions related to the vascular system.
  • About the Role: In this senior-level position, you will work in a clinical or hospital setting, focusing on the evaluation and treatment of arterial, venous, and lymphatic disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with vascular conditions, including taking detailed medical histories, conducting physical examinations, and ordering diagnostic tests.
  • Utilize imaging techniques, such as ultrasound, CT scans, or angiography, to assess the vascular system.
  • Perform a wide range of vascular surgical procedures, including open surgery and endovascular interventions.
  • These may include arterial bypass grafting, endovascular stenting, thrombectomy, aneurysm repair, or venous procedures like varicose vein treatment or venous access creation.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on the patient's condition, medical history, and diagnostic findings.
  • Consider a range of treatment options, including surgical interventions, minimally invasive procedures, and medical management, to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Provide preoperative evaluation and preparation for patients undergoing vascular surgery.
  • Collaborate with anesthesiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and successful surgeries.
  • Oversee postoperative care, including wound management, pain control, and patient recovery.
  • Offer non-surgical interventions for vascular conditions, such as endovascular procedures, catheter-based treatments, sclerotherapy for varicose veins, and medical management of conditions like peripheral artery disease or deep vein thrombosis.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Doctoral degree in Vascular Surgery or a related field.
  • Current medical licensure and board certification in Vascular Surgery.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Vascular Surgery, preferably in a clinical or hospital setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
