Electrical Design Expert Wanted

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8-10 years of experience in handling electrical design activities for data centers or industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design of building management systems, chiller plant automation, fire detection, public address, telecom and security systems for data centers or industrial projects.
  • Conduct conceptual design at the preliminary stage by understanding project requirements following relevant codes & standards.
  • Selection of suitable instruments or devices and their specifications for building automation, fire alarm, and security system design.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in instrumentation or electrical engineering.
  • Familiarity with data center master plans, concepts, and schematics.
  • A good understanding of TIA-942-B Standard for Data Centers.
  • Hands-on experience of Indian and international codes for design.
  • Interdisciplinary coordination.

Skills:

  • Self-motivated with excellent management and reporting capabilities.
  • Good understanding of TIA-942-B Standard for Data Centers.
  • Knowledge of 3D engineering and proficiency in reviewing 3D models using Navisworks is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of ELV codes and standards is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of IS/IEC standards.

Software Competency:

  • Application of 3D review software like Navisworks.
  • Application of other supporting software like Bluebeam, Adobe Acrobat.
  • Proficient user of MS Office 365: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
