Job Overview

We're seeking a skilled Logistics Insights Specialist to join our team. This role involves working with data from multiple sources to derive insights, identify underlying patterns, and create forecasts based on previous data trends.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, the ability to communicate complex ideas simply, and a passion for data-driven decision making.

  • Data Exploration: Work with data teams and business stakeholders to elicit, refine, and demonstrate clear understanding of analytics requirements.
  • Analytics Requirements: Communicate recommendations to business partners and influence future plans based on insights.
  • Partnering: Interpret and transform data packets, including application of complex calculations that are accurate and performant across large data sets.
  • Automation and Streamlining: Strong ability to understand business process/concepts and work with business to automate/streamline the process for most accurate data-driven insights.
Key Responsibilities

As a Logistics Insights Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Working with multiple stakeholders and teams across the organization to derive insights from data and support day-to-day business decisions.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and generate insights.
  • Prepare reports to effectively communicate patterns, trends, and simple predictions.
  • Support with ad-hoc analyses as needed.
  • Develop documentation to allow for smooth operations and easy system maintenance.
  • Perform routine data quality checks.
