Senior IT Leadership Role

The Senior IT Leadership role is a strategic position that oversees the implementation of key IT governance functions and drives portfolio execution to align with organizational goals.

This role supports the CIO in shaping the IT strategy and operating model, ensuring transparency, control, and agility across IT operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading global organizations or large-scale transformations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic guidance to the CIO on IT strategy, operating plans, and models.
  • Lead the governance of IT project and program portfolios to ensure value delivery and alignment with business objectives and regulatory compliance.
  • Oversee IT financial and vendor management processes, including budgeting, forecasting, procurement alignment, and vendor performance monitoring.
  • Define and manage KPIs and performance reporting processes, including dashboards, health checks, and investment tracking for IT performance and value delivery.
  • Foster prioritization processes, supervise PMOs, and deliver oversight to enable project execution excellence and agile ways of working.
  • Facilitate IT steering committees and manage prioritization processes, supporting executive and business reviews.
  • Identify and manage interdependencies, risks, and critical success factors across programs.
  • Maintain IT policies, processes, standards, and quality compliance across the function.
  • Spearhead change enablement activities and communicate initiatives in partnership with HR and Communications for IT-led programs and transformations.
  • Promote integrated workforce and capacity planning, location strategy, headcount tracking, succession planning, role-based requirements, and talent initiatives.
  • Cultivate continuous improvement initiatives across the Office of the CIO domain, implementing required tools and frameworks for service excellence and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • ITIL, PMP/PRINCE2, Change Management, or Agile certifications are highly desirable.
  • Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Minimum 10+ years in IT governance, PMO leadership, or Office of CIO roles.
  • Experience managing IT portfolios, financial planning, and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of IT strategy, IT operating models, metrics, and transformation programs.
  • Proven leadership in global organizations or large-scale transformations.
  • Experience managing relationships with vendors and service providers.
