Your key responsibilities will be:

  1. Lead the IPB India budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning process with input from key business stakeholders and the Regional Head of Performance Management.
  2. Collaborate with Finance to manage the local capital/RWA monthly and yearly planning process for local capital requirements.
  3. Own monthly presentations of financials to stakeholders, providing advice, independent challenges, and alternative thinking on business strategy.
  4. Partner with Business Finance during weekly and monthly P&L close to provide best estimates and flash to the business on Revenue, Net New Assets, Net New Lending Flows, Balance Sheet, etc.
  5. Review and challenge Treasury allocation to IPB India business.
  6. Review the rolling forecasting model to ensure it accurately reflects the operational assumptions of the business.
  7. Prepare monthly regional performance management decks.
  8. Track and monitor actual KPIs and financial performance against budget/forecast and provide insights into opportunities and risks.
  9. Perform ad-hoc analysis where required to assist in management decision-making.
  10. Active lead/involvement in new initiatives or projects as required.

We estimate the salary for this role to be around ₹1.2 million per annum, based on industry standards and the location in Mumbai.

Key qualifications include:

  • 5 years of relevant experience in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A).
  • Proven ability to lead financial planning and forecasting processes.
  • Prior experience in Wealth Management/Private Banking/Business Banking is beneficial.
  • Strong understanding of financial products.
  • Analytical ability using standard and bespoke tools, along with a track record of formulating and presenting financial and operational solutions for the business.
  • Ability to manage time and project manage deliverables to deadlines.

  • A team player who facilitates the sharing of knowledge and the building of teams, with the ability to work with multi-locational teams across the region.
