Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Firewall ACL Engineer to design, implement, and manage firewall access control lists for secure network communication. As part of our team, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of firewall rules with other security controls.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of networking concepts in cloud environments, including VPCs, firewalls, VPNs, tunneling, and hybrid cloud connectivity.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design, implement, and manage firewall access control lists (ACLs) for secure network communication.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of firewall rules with other security controls.
  3. Develop and maintain documentation of firewall configurations, ACLs, and related security policies.
  4. Stay up-to-date with emerging threats and technologies, and recommend improvements to our security posture.
Requirements:
  • 8-10 years of experience in networking and cloud computing.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one public cloud (GCP or AWS preferred).
  • Secondary skills: Experience with Terraform (mid-level proficiency acceptable).
Preferred Certifications:
  • AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty.
  • Google Professional Cloud Network Engineer.
