Database Professional Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Database Professional to join our team. As a key member of the database team, you will be responsible for administering and maintaining MSSQL, PostgreSQL, and MySQL database environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer and maintain robust database security protocols, ensuring data confidentiality and integrity.
  • Manage cloud-based database hosting, preferably on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), to optimize database performance and availability.
  • Work with in-memory databases such as Redis and Memcached, designing and implementing efficient caching strategies.
  • Conduct thorough performance analysis and optimization for databases under various workloads, utilizing tools like Ansible for automation.
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline DBA-related workflows, improving efficiency and reducing downtime.
  • Develop PowerShell scripts for automating MSSQL administrative tasks, enhancing productivity and accuracy.
  • Perform database migrations across heterogeneous environments, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal disruption.
  • Navigate Linux systems to manage MySQL and PostgreSQL databases, leveraging expertise in system administration.
  • Design and implement disaster recovery and high-availability solutions, protecting critical data and systems.
  • Configure replication and load balancing for optimized database performance and availability, ensuring business continuity.
  • Manage database backup strategies and periodic recovery testing, guaranteeing data recoverability.
  • Stay updated with the latest database features and industry trends, applying knowledge to improve database management.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including inventory, installation, and maintenance procedures, facilitating knowledge sharing and collaboration.
