Key Attributes of a Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

The primary function of the Quality Assurance Engineer is to ensure that our software products meet the highest standards of quality. This includes planning, developing, and executing test cases to validate the functionality of our applications.

  • API Automation: Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Postman and Rest Assured to ensure seamless integration with our APIs.
  • ETL/Data Testing: Conduct data validation, analysis, and integration testing to guarantee the accuracy and integrity of our data.
  • Functional Testing: Perform end-to-end testing to identify and report defects in our applications.
  • Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate testing results and recommendations.
Requirements:

To be successful as a Quality Assurance Engineer, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • 5-8 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
  • Strong experience in API automation (Postman/Rest Assured).
  • Expertise in ETL/data testing (data validation, data analysis & integration).
  • Hands-on experience with UI, integration, end-to-end, and functional testing.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
