Description:

We are seeking a talented 2D artist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and illustrating 2D characters tailored for mobile gaming platforms.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating visually engaging 2D backgrounds, props, clothing, and additional game art assets.

They will adhere to a structured production pipeline, ensuring timely and efficient creation of production-ready art.

Exporting and assembling final assets from source files, following technical guidelines and file specifications is also a key responsibility.

The role requires continuous learning and adaptation to new tools, techniques, and artistic workflows.

Maintaining consistency by matching existing art styles and accurately identifying differences across visual styles is essential.

Integration and testing of assets in Unity to ensure seamless in-game performance is also required.

Regular playtesting of our games to assess aesthetics, user experience, and gameplay flow is an ongoing task.

Offering clear, actionable feedback on visual and gameplay enhancements based on playtesting is crucial.

Staying current with tools and workflows, adapting to new techniques as needed, is vital.

Ensuring visual consistency by matching established styles and identifying deviations is essential.

Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in the gaming or animation industry, with a strong focus on mobile game development.
  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop with advanced 2D character illustration skills.
  • Experienced in creating 2D characters, backgrounds, props, clothing, and other visual assets for mobile games.
  • Able to follow and contribute to a structured production pipeline, ensuring efficient and technically accurate asset delivery.
  • Skilled in exporting and assembling images from art files according to defined technical parameters and protocols.
  • Quick to learn and apply new technical skills, tools, and workflows.
  • Strong aesthetic sense with a solid foundation in graphic design principles.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of maintaining thorough working habits.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced production environments and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Passionate about mobile gaming—with hands-on experience in designing and producing art specifically for mobile game titles.
