Overview

Responsibilities

As a successful Regional DC Project Manager, your key objectives include:

  • Developing and maintaining a program to identify best practices, design process and procedure documents, and socialize those across the APAC Region.
  • Creating lessons learned documentation, best practices, and innovations on existing process/procedures and tools to improve efficiencies and productivity in post-RNI activities.
  • Utilizing your knowledge to train, equip, and empower local teams to build and maintain a network which will support their campus through its entire lifecycle.
  • Collaborating with other DC Ops Regions and global teams to align post-RNI processes and procedures globally.
  • Creating and managing end-to-end network project plans and ensuring on-time delivery.
  • Empowering a culture of safety, security, and compliance in all aspects of data center activities.
  • Establishing and enhancing strong working relationships with customers in the network space.
  • Collaborating directly with site management and third-party vendors at new campuses and data centers to align best practices and deliver new locations quickly and reliably.
  • Planning, managing, and communicating end-to-end network project plans with stakeholders and teams.
  • Performing day-to-day project check-in and update to manage project delivery and quality.
  • Identifying risks, gaps, and opportunities and communicating to stakeholders and other teams to drive resolution.
  • Working with various Engineering, Operations, Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, DC Build Managers, and Regional Technical Infrastructure Managers during project planning and execution.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • At least 5-8 years' project management experience across large complex, cross-functional organizations.
  • At least 5-8 years' experience in data center-related functions for large enterprise organizations.
  • Prior experience in leading large projects end-to-end.
  • Experience working with network technologies including TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, Routing, and Switching.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications

We're looking for candidates with:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience in project or program management and/or large-scale networks.
  • Experience delivering large network or other IT hardware projects.
  • Networking certifications (e.g. CCNA, CCNP, etc.).
  • Awareness of IT Service Operations fundamentals and principles (ITIL, MOF, OLA/SLA, CSI, etc.).
  • Project or program management certifications (e.g. PMI, etc.).
