Senior Frontend Developer

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Frontend Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Information Technology and expertise in Angular 12 and above, including HTML, CSS, and writing cross-browser compatible code.

The successful candidate will be responsible for evolving an existing front-end web application using Micro-frontend architecture and Angular, developing and extending the backbone of a front-end implementation, building reusable components and features, ensuring the ability of the front-end web application to be easily maintained, scaled, and deployed by multiple teams working parallelly and independently.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Angular 12 and above: Proficiency in Angular 12 and above is required.
  • HTML, CSS: Strong knowledge of HTML and CSS is essential.
  • JavaScript, AJAX, JavaScript DOM manipulation: Expertise in JavaScript, AJAX, and JavaScript DOM manipulation techniques is necessary.
  • Source code control systems: Experience with source code control systems such as TFS or Git is desirable.
  • JavaScript build tools: Knowledge of JavaScript build tools like grunt or gulp is beneficial.
  • Webpack: Familiarity with Webpack is a plus.
  • Modern JavaScript MV-VM/MVC frameworks: Experience with modern JavaScript MV-VM/MVC frameworks such as React, Vue is advantageous.
  • Testing frameworks: Knowledge of testing frameworks such as Jasmine or Cypress is essential.
  • Test runner framework: Familiarity with test runner frameworks such as Karma is necessary.
  • .NET/Core experience: .NET/Core experience is a plus.
  • RESTful web services: Experience with RESTful web services is desirable.
  • Postman/Swagger and related tools: Familiarity with Postman/Swagger and related tools is beneficial.
  • TDD, ATDD, BDD: Understanding of TDD, ATDD, BDD principles is essential.
  • Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery pipeline concepts: Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery pipeline concepts is necessary.

Responsibilities:

  • Evolve an existing front-end web application using Micro-frontend architecture and Angular.
  • Develop and extend the backbone of a front-end implementation, building reusable components and features.
  • Ensure the ability of the front-end web application to be easily maintained, scaled, and deployed by multiple teams working parallelly and independently.
  • Contribute to the front-end architecture application implementation in collaboration with the broader development team and architects.
  • Work closely with UI/UX designer teams and lead the implementation of new initiatives to support the architecture decision and vision.

Qualification:

  • Engineering Degree or equivalent: An engineering degree or equivalent in IT/Software Development is required.
  • 5+ years' experience in Software Development/Engineering: At least 5 years' experience in software development/engineering is necessary.
  • 4+ years' experience with the Angular framework: At least 4 years' experience with the Angular framework (5.x and up) is required.
