Senior CASB Engineer/Cyber Security Specialist Job Description

As a Senior CASB Engineer/Cyber Security Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and implementing infrastructure for Cloud Access Security Brokers (CASBs).

  1. Design and implement CASB infrastructure to ensure robust security posture.
  2. Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of various CASB/SSPM/CSPM platforms, including Netskope, Microsoft Defender, Palo Alto Prisma.
  3. Stay up-to-date with the latest network security and cybersecurity fundamentals (TCP/IP, firewalls, proxies, DNS, routing/switching).
  4. Strongly possess PowerShell scripting and automation skills to streamline processes.
  5. Gain experience with systems operation, engineering, and troubleshooting complex technical issues.
  6. Integrate monitoring, logging (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel), and Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems.
  7. Familiarity with Office365, OneDrive, SharePoint Online for Business is a must.
  8. Working knowledge of Kerberos authentication and delegation is required.
  9. Exposure to onboarding services and user migration for new IT solutions.
  10. Troubleshoot skills specific to network security applications.
  11. Knowledge of data protection concepts (e.g., DLP, DRM, data classification, encryption) across on-prem and cloud environments.
  12. Practical experience with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira and Odyssey.

Requirements:

  1. Subject matter expertise in infrastructure design and implementation for CASB environments.
  2. Hands-on experience with multiple CASB/SSPM/CSPM platforms.
  3. Deep understanding of network security and cybersecurity principles.
  4. Strong PowerShell scripting and automation skills.
  5. Systems operation, engineering, and troubleshooting experience.
  6. Integration expertise with various systems and technologies.
