Paints and Coatings Technical Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Paints and Coatings Technical Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for advancing our technical service initiatives in the Paints and Coatings sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a safe work environment, adhering to safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform experimental work, interpret results, and provide solutions to product and process-related problems.
  • Support sales organizations and customers with technical services and customer visits.
  • Prepare presentations for internal and external events/conferences.
  • Design experiments and develop new methods as needed.
  • Interact effectively with internal and external customers and distributors.
  • Develop expertise in core technology and experimental procedures.
  • Maintain application testing equipment and the application lab.
  • Identify new product and technical solutions, sharing them with management.
  • Formulate and present solution directions at request or initiative.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate should possess a graduate degree in chemical technology or a related field, along with 3-5 years' experience in water-based paints and coatings raw materials. Strong knowledge of rheology modifiers, formulation, and communication skills is essential.
