Job Title: Data Quality Engineer for Azure Ecosystem

Role Description:
This role is centered around validating and ensuring the quality of mission-critical data systems. As a seasoned Data Quality Assurance professional, you will play a crucial part in delivering enterprise-scale data solutions while collaborating closely with engineering, product, and analytics teams.

The ideal candidate will have 4–5 years of strong experience in Data Quality Assurance, with expertise in Azure Data Bricks and Azure Data Factory (ADF). They should also have hands-on experience with Spark SQL and writing/optimizing complex SQL queries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Quality Assurance & Testing
  • Validate ETL processes, data transformations, and workflows to ensure accuracy, completeness, and reliability.
  • Write and execute complex SQL and Spark SQL queries to test and validate large datasets.
  • Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing of data solutions.

Collaboration & Understanding Data Systems:
  • Work closely with engineering and product teams to understand complex data systems, business rules, and requirements.
  • Partner with data engineers and analysts to identify data issues and ensure high-quality outputs.

Skills Required:
  • Strong expertise in Azure Data Bricks and Azure Data Factory (ADF)
  • Hands-on experience with Spark SQL and writing/optimizing complex SQL queries
  • Proven experience in data validation, ETL testing, and data pipeline QA
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working in cross-functional teams

- Location: Pune or Bangalore (Hybrid working model)
