Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and bookkeeping, with experience using QuickBooks.

The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate and timely financial records for our clients, preparing monthly financials, reconciling accounts, and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain bookkeeping records for various client companies
  • Record financial transactions accurately in QuickBooks
  • Enter income, expenses and other transactions into QuickBooks based on client-specific guidelines
  • Prepare, print and send out monthly financials
  • Reconcile client accounts to ensure accuracy
  • Ensure compliance with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with QuickBooks
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
  • Excellent time management skills
  • General accounting knowledge
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience with accounting software
Performance Metrics
  • Accuracy and timeliness of monthly financials and account reconciliations
  • Compliance with client-specific bookkeeping guidelines and GAAP
  • Responsiveness and clarity in communication with team members
