About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Senior Software Tester to lead our QA efforts and ensure the quality of our ERP systems.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies to meet business and technical requirements.
  • Define testing methodologies to ensure thorough coverage of functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Lead functional, regression, integration, system, performance, and security testing for complex ERP modules.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements and identify potential issues early.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
  • Mentor junior testers and provide training to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Ensure all testing activities comply with relevant regulations (e.g., FDA 21 CFR Part 11, GxP).
  • Maintain detailed documentation of test cases, test results, defects, and QA processes.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA or Bugzilla.
  • Collaborate with development teams to resolve issues in a timely manner.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
  • Advanced degree or certifications are a plus.

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in software testing, preferably in ERP systems.
  • Proven track record of leading QA teams and managing complex testing projects.

Technical Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of software testing methodologies and processes.
  • Proficiency with automated testing frameworks and scripting languages.
  • Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
  • Familiarity with SQL and database testing.

Regulatory Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical industry regulations and standards.
  • Experience ensuring software compliance with regulatory requirements.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
