  • We seek an experienced Backend Developer who will take full ownership of backend systems.

  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performance APIs and services using JavaScript (Node.js).

  • The successful applicant will design and build RESTful APIs (and GraphQL if applicable) to ensure system scalability, performance, and security.

  • They will also be responsible for end-to-end development, from architecture and coding to testing, deployment, and monitoring.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 2+ years of professional backend development experience in a startup or small team environment.

  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript (Node.js), experience with frameworks like Express.js, Nest.js, or similar.

  • Knowledge of TypeScript, experience with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL – e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
