Medical Device Specialist

A critical role in patient care, the Medical Device Specialist ensures medical devices are safe, accurate, and functioning correctly. Strong technical skills in electronics and a methodical approach to problem-solving are required.

This specialist is responsible for daily tasks such as maintenance and repair of medical equipment, routine and complex troubleshooting, and ensuring equipment reliability.

• Equipment Inspection and Calibration: Inspect and calibrate medical equipment to ensure it operates safely and accurately.
• Service Log Maintenance: Maintain service logs to track equipment maintenance and repairs.
• Field Service Support: Provide field service support as needed to ensure equipment is functioning correctly.

• Technical Skills: Equipment maintenance and repair skills, knowledge of medical equipment operation, and field service experience.
• Educational Background: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering, electronics, or related field.
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to work independently and in a team.
