About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Terminal Operations Manager to join our team at Reliance Industries Limited.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the safe custody of products, ensuring timely unloading, receiving, storing, and distribution as per agreement terms with terminal operators. They will also ensure minimum transit losses and operating losses within targets.

Main Responsibilities:

Key responsibilities include:

  • Transit Losses and Operating Efficiency: Ensure correct accounting of product, analyze daily loss/gain, and initiate corrective measures to achieve target.
  • Asset Management: Analyze transit/losses per parcel and initiate corrective measures, recoveries, and lodgment of claims.
  • Cost Control: Monitor and control cost of utilities and operating consumables, ensure nil demurrage on account of Terminal while unloading vessels, and ensure NIL product contamination.

Delivery of Q & Q Proposition and Improved Service Level:

The candidate will also focus on delivering a quality and quantity proposition and improving service levels by ensuring timely delivery of product to customers, ensuring no customer complaints of density variation and water, sludge/sediments by periodic tank draining.

Compliance of Operations, HSSE and Quality SOPs:

The role requires compliance with operational, health, safety, security, and environmental (HSSE) standards and ensuring adherence to all statutory requirements by timely renewal of licenses.

Additional Responsibilities:

The Terminal Operations Manager will also be responsible for ensuring toolbox talks to TT crew and other contract staff, leading by example with strong leadership skills and emphasizing innovation and out-of-the-box thinking capability.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

A Graduate Engineer in any discipline with 4-6 years of experience in the field of Petroleum Retail/Operations/Oil is essential. Additionally, 5 years of experience in Airfield Refueling Operations is preferred.

Estimated Salary: ₹750,000-₹1,200,000 Per Annum
