Job OverviewSpearhead the implementation of SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) solutions to drive business success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deploy robust MDG configurations to ensure alignment with business requirements and industry best practices.
  • Design and implement effective Master Data Management strategies for key business areas, including Material Master, Vendor Master, and Customer Master.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop data models, quality rules, and workflows that optimize data governance and lifecycle management.
  • Ensure seamless integration of SAP MDG with other SAP modules and non-SAP systems.
  • Support data migration activities by designing and executing migration plans for moving master data from legacy systems to SAP MDG.
  • Work closely with business users to enhance master data processes and meet evolving business needs.
  • Perform system testing and documentation to ensure solution quality and client adoption.
  • Provide end-user training and support to facilitate smooth SAP MDG adoption.
  • Help clients navigate change management challenges associated with implementing SAP MDG.
  • Stay updated on the latest SAP MDG trends, tools, and technologies to propose improvements and optimizations.
  • Guide junior consultants and manage client relationships to ensure project success.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in SAP MDG implementation and support, with a deep understanding of master data governance concepts and practices.
  • Strong experience with SAP MDG modules, including Material Master, Customer Master, and Vendor Master management.
  • Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA and its integration with SAP MDG.
  • Experience in data modeling, data governance, and workflow configuration within the SAP ecosystem.
  • Knowledge of SAP GRC and its integration with SAP MDG is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of data migration processes and tools for SAP MDG.
  • SAP MDG Certification is preferred but not mandatory.
