Job Purpose

Regardless of your career path or skillset, you will be joining a collaborative team that liaises with Private Equity Firms globally in the areas of Fund Accounting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare daily cash reports for active private equity secondaries funds by collating data from administrators, banking providers, and internal forecasts using data visualization tools.
  • Reconcile movements in capacity, loan balances, and forecast capacity to prior day reporting, adjusting manual forecast data for new deals and uncertain cash flows based on latest information.
  • Review cash management proposals from administrators for internal cash movements within fund structures and instruct them to make additional cash movements as required.
  • Formulate proposals for near-term cash management including loan drawdowns/repayments, Money Market Fund subscriptions/redemptions, and FX trades.
  • Liaise with fund owners to review and agree proposals.
  • Prepare loan instructions and FX instructions to send to administrators and other service providers.
  • Closely collaborate with the treasury team to discuss daily cash management topics, medium-term investor cash flow planning, and identifying opportunities for process enhancements.
Requirements:
  • Post-graduate qualifications or equivalent experience.
  • At least 9 years of experience in fund accounting is preferred.
  • Managing and/or leading employees for 2-3 years.
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Understanding of PCAP and quarterly preparing PCAP.
  • Ability to work hands-on, delving into projects with a strong attention to detail and emphasis on producing high-quality work products.
  • Experience working independently, proactively identifying ways to enhance processes and outcomes.
  • Ability to prioritize workload, managing multiple tasks and details simultaneously.
  • Ability to show initiative, willingness to learn, and take on responsibilities as a contributing team member.
  • Solutions-focused and able to work in unstructured environments.
  • Willingness to acknowledge unknowns and seek assistance.
  • Knowledge of MS Office with strong skills in MS Word and MS Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
