Senior System Administrator Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior System Administrator to assist with the design, maintenance, and monitoring of our company's infrastructure.

This position will continually improve IT infrastructure standards, policies, and procedures while ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of all on-premises and cloud-based resources.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Configure, deploy, and maintain Azure, AWS, and Hyper-V Server environments in alignment with industry best practices and company standards.
  • Administer and address user support tickets following ITIL principles, ensuring timely resolutions and maintaining superior user satisfaction levels.
  • Configure, deploy, and maintain Active Directory services such as Domain Controllers, User/Group Management, and Group Policy Administration.
  • Administer and maintain a hybrid Active Directory environment to ensure timely synchronizations between On-Premises and Cloud Infrastructure.
  • Collaborate closely with the IT Security team to implement security best practices and controls, ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our Infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at various levels within the organization and with external parties.

They should be able to take calculated risks in uncertain or ambiguous situations, prioritize multiple tasks effectively, and manage competing priorities and assignments.

A passion for delivering business value and willingness to perform other assigned tasks is essential.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in system administration, with a focus on Windows Server environments.
  • MCSE or equivalent certification.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash)
