About the Role

This is a full-time remote role for an Engineering Manager / Tech Lead Manager (TLM) at Cimba.AI. As an AI Engineering Team Lead - Platform Strategist, you will be responsible for leading teams, overseeing software development projects, managing integrations, and ensuring project success on the platform.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

  • Technical Leadership:
  • Serve as the principal technical authority within your team, guiding architectural decisions, reviewing complex code, and ensuring the implementation of scalable, reliable, and secure software solutions. Draw on deep engineering expertise to mentor team members, drive the technical roadmap, and maintain best practices across codebases.
  • Team Management & Development:
  • Recruit, manage, and develop a world-class engineering team. Provide ongoing coaching, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities, fostering a culture of continuous learning, mutual support, and shared ownership of outcomes.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to translate high-level product visions into actionable engineering plans. Collaborate across teams to align goals, remove dependencies, and deliver high-quality products on schedule.
  • Operational Excellence:
  • Own the software development lifecycle, driving processes that improve code quality, testing rigor, release reliability, and operational efficiency. Lead efforts in monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing production systems, ensuring the team meets uptime and performance goals.
  • Strategic Planning & Execution:
  • Contribute to the long-term product and platform strategy, evaluating emerging technologies and industry trends. Identify and reduce technical debt while proactively planning for scalability, adaptability, and growth.
  • Influence & Communication:
  • Represent the engineering perspective in leadership discussions, clearly articulating technical complexities, trade-offs, and impact. Build strong relationships with key partners, fostering transparency, trust, and effective communication at all organizational levels.

Salary Information

We offer a competitive salary range of $170,000 - $220,000 per year, depending on experience. This figure is based on national averages and may vary depending on location and individual qualifications.
