Sports Technology Engineer Job Description
  • About the Role: We're seeking a skilled Sports Technology Engineer to join our team at StanceBeam, a dynamic startup revolutionizing sports tech through cutting-edge Sports analytics. As a key member of our team, you'll collaborate closely with the Product Head to research, design, implement, and manage a highly scalable Sports Analytics Wearable Solution.
  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Data Processing: Design and implement efficient C-based data processing pipelines for multi-sensor data analysis, focusing on accelerometer, gyroscope, and magnetometer data.
    • Sensor Fusion: Develop and implement sensor fusion algorithms to combine data from multiple sensors for precise orientation tracking, including calibration procedures and advanced filtering techniques.
    • Activity Recognition: Design and optimize algorithms for activity recognition and motion classification, ensuring accurate data quality across all sensors.
    • Data Visualization: Create visualization tools for 3D orientation and movement analysis, leveraging your expertise in 3D geometry, transformations, and coordinate systems.
  • Requirements:
    • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
    • Experience: 1+ years of experience in sensor data analysis, with expertise in C programming, sensor fusion algorithms, and 3D geometry.
    • Technical Skills:
      • Programming: Expert-level proficiency in C programming language.
      • Sensor Fusion: Complementary filters, Kalman filters, and sensor fusion techniques.
      • Mathematics: Linear algebra, quaternions, rotation matrices, and 3D geometry.
