Key Responsibilities:

As a Lab Engineer - LSAW Plant Specialist at Ratnamani Metals & Tubes, you will be responsible for performing the testing of raw materials and pipes, preparing test reports and inspection certificates, and coordinating with the workshop for sample preparation on time.

Additional Responsibilities:

Verify the specimen dimension as per applicable procedures and record it in appropriate formats.
Maintain the specimen tractability as per lab procedure.
Update the list of available accessories periodically to control the inventory as well as to go for purchase of new items and inform about it to the incharge lab.
Assist maintenance department in case of equipment trouble and cooperate with them for preventive actions.
Initiate all process and product safety and environmental aspects related issues and will report the action and take advice from incharge lab.
Make sure the technicians do sorting, organizing, cleaning, sanitizing and discipline in their working places and implement it.
Ensure safe working methods and help to generate sustainable environment and OHS.
Make sure the technicians follow all the manual/procedure and safety standards.

Requirements:

This role requires a strong understanding of lab procedures and a keen eye for detail.
