Job Description

The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role within our engineering team in developing a comprehensive performance testing strategy, including detailed performance testing requirements and translating the performance requirements into appropriate scenarios to replicate production.

This involves maintaining technical expertise in performance/load testing methodologies, designing and developing solutions for supporting cloud and CI/CD for Sev utilization, communicating effectively across multiple teams and external vendors when required, monitoring server metrics using APM tools, participating in continuous improvement measures to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of automation, and implementing solutions for industry-standard requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct endurance, stress, load, and volume testing to validate software application and infrastructure stability and performance.
  • Provide performance testing support for respective business units.
  • Coordinate and execute test case creation, scripting, and performance test execution.
  • Design, develop, and execute scripts that validate test cases defined within project test plans.
  • Perform load testing across multiple messaging protocols, focusing on overall application performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Maintenance of technical expertise in performance/load testing methodologies.
  • Design and development of solutions for supporting cloud and CI/CD for Sev utilization.
  • Effective communication across multiple teams and external vendors.
  • Monitoring of server metrics using APM tools.
  • Participation in continuous improvement measures.
  • Implementation of solutions for industry-standard requirements.
  • 7+ years of experience in performance testing.
  • Min 5 years of experience with OpenText LoadRunner using Citrix, RDP, Java, and mobile technologies.
  • Significant experience working with Jmeter and APM tools.
  • Proven experience with SOAP Web Services and RESTful Web Services testing.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in performance testing principles, SDLC, and SQA processes.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in CI/CD tools and practices.
