Mainframe Development Opportunities

We are seeking a skilled Mainframe Developer to join our team at Softpath Technologies LLC.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement high-performance mainframe applications using COBOL, CICS, and DB2.
  • Collaborate with other developers to create scalable and efficient mainframe solutions.
  • Analyze user requirements and develop software solutions that meet performance and security requirements.
  • Research new technologies and software development trends to improve mainframe development practices.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for mainframe applications.
  • Write technical documentation for mainframe development processes and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in mainframe development.
  • Strong knowledge of COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, and other mainframe technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with mainframe software development tools and platforms (z/OS, z/VM, z/Linux, IBM System z).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
