As a Manager with our Global Business Tax Team, you will have the opportunity to work on complex tax advisory engagements, manage delivery of tax opinions, and lead tax compliances such as filing of tax returns and withholding tax statements. You will also be responsible for managing tax assessment and litigation proceedings, training junior colleagues, and delivering clients with tax technology assets through licensing and internal managed services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing tax advisory engagements almost independently with minimal supervision
  • Managing delivery of tax opinions / short notes / email responses on day-to-day clients' tax matters
  • Responsible for tax compliances such as filing of tax returns, withholding tax statements, advance tax, provisioning for income tax and other tax filings
  • Managing tax assessment / litigation proceedings before the assessing officer, other income tax authorities and higher appellate forums
  • Training assistant and deputy managers and executives for their professional development and for creating stronger bench
  • Delivering clients with tax technology assets through licensing and/or internal managed services
  • SPOC responsibilities for end-to-end tax operate engagements
  • Internal client codes management from the standpoint of time logging, invoicing, and collections
  • Business development including identifying new opportunities and mining existing ones
  • Collaborating with other tax services lines/business functions for multi-disciplinary client requirements

Required Skills:

  • CA-5-7 years' Experience in Direct Taxation
