High Voltage Inverter Mechanical Design Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled mechanical design engineer to develop and optimize the mechanical aspects of high-voltage inverters.

This role is ideal for individuals with expertise in designing and developing mechanical packaging, structures, and thermal management systems for high-voltage power inverters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop mechanical solutions that meet or exceed performance requirements for high-voltage inverters.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical designs with electrical and software components.
  • Develop and maintain detailed specifications, tolerances, and assembly instructions for mechanical components.
  • Perform advanced simulations to validate structural integrity, thermal performance, and other critical parameters.
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations for safety, quality, and environmental sustainability.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in high-voltage inverter design and development.
Requirements:
  • Mastery of Unigraphics NX (modelling, drafting, plastic & casting design, generative sheet metal, generative shape design, DMU).
  • Advanced knowledge of geometrical dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Experience with design for manufacturing and assembly (DFM/DFA) principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
