Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that concrete is properly prepared and finished to meet the required standards.

  • Inspect forms to ensure they are properly constructed
  • Set forms to the desired pitch and depth, and align them
  • Spread, level, and smooth concrete using various tools
  • Mold expansion joints and edges
  • Monitor curing conditions
  • Signal truck drivers and move chutes to direct concrete on forms
  • Produce rough concrete surfaces
  • Operate power vibrators to compact concrete
  • Direct casting and supervise laborers
  • Mix cement, sand, and water
  • Cut out damaged areas, drill holes, and position reinforcing rods
  • Install anchor bolts, steel plates, and other fixtures
  • Apply muriatic acid and rinse surfaces
  • Pull rollers over surfaces to embed chips
  • Polish surfaces using polishing machines

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in concrete finishing
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Physical stamina to perform physically demanding tasks
  • Basic math skills and ability to read blueprints
