Job Title: FlashBlade System Tester

The role of a FlashBlade system tester involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the optimal test coverage for various use cases. This position requires developing and executing customer-centric system testing for FlashBlade.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Create and execute system tests driven by customer use cases for FlashBlade.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to validate test environments and identify defects.
  • Design and develop automation frameworks to execute system testing.
  • Work with development, support, and escalation teams to reproduce and resolve customer issues.
  • Analyze and document defects discovered during testing.

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience in software testing and test automation, preferably in an enterprise storage product environment.
  • Strong knowledge of file systems, file system protocols, and data replication.
  • Experience working with distributed systems architecture and flash storage is highly desirable.
  • Strong automation skills and familiarity with tooling like pytest is a plus.
  • Good understanding of end-customer use cases and application ecosystems is a plus.

Additional Skills:

  • Experience with 3rd party IO tools and simulation of IO test workloads.
  • Skilled at reviewing and collaborating on product design documents and test plans.
  • Competency in authoring detailed test plans and working within Agile and Test-Driven Development organizations.
