Database Security Professional

We are seeking a skilled mid-level professional to support our Database Security initiatives.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Configure and implement Imperva Database Security solutions across enterprise environments, ensuring robust security and compliance.
  • Collaborate with customers to gather requirements, analyze data, and deploy tailored solutions that meet their needs.
  • Perform system changes and updates during U.S. night shift hours to support U.S.-based teams.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to firewalls, network connectivity, and server performance, providing timely resolutions.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using Shell, Python, or similar languages, enhancing operational efficiency.
  • Update runbooks, documentation, and tooling to improve incident response and operational readiness, ensuring seamless processes.
  • Support post-incident reviews and ensure learnings are documented and actioned, driving continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of alerting systems and operational workflows, streamlining processes.
  • Required Skills & Experience:
  • 3–5 years of experience in engineering roles, preferably in cybersecurity or infrastructure, with a strong background in Linux and System Administration.
  • Hands-on experience with Imperva Database Security is essential, along with scripting experience (Shell, Python, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and customer interaction skills are crucial for success in this role.
