Electrical/Mechanical Domain Lead

Main Responsibilities:
- Manage Computer-Aided Design (CAD) activities and deliverables for electrical and mechanical domains, ensuring compliance with Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) commitments.
- Apply applicable electrical and mechanical domain instructions, processes, and tools to drive design excellence.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Closure of open points or escalation within 10 days.
- 100% compliance with Engineering WorkPackage (variation orders excluded).
- First-time quality rate > 90% for delivered products.
- 100% on-time delivery for assigned tasks.
- 100% application of standard processes and procedures.
- 100% configuration management of deliverables.
- Respect of cost allocation.
Accountable for:
- Performing 3D design, annotations, and 2D deliverables in compliance with QCD commitments and Metier rules.
- Modeling and storing allocated volumes and interfaces for sub-systems/components in Digital Mock-Up.
- Performing detailed design on internal sub-systems.
- Filling up attributes for each part in Digital Mock-Up (naming, material, Fire & Smoke, etc.).
- Verifying consistency of digital mock-up and compliance with requirements.
- Preparing and documenting Domain Design Reviews.
- Updating Digital Mock-Up based on Change Requests.
- Checking CADs' and sub-contractor's design quality.
- Realizing stack-up analysis and Bill of Material.
Responsible for:
- Planning and piloting electrical and mechanical domain activities, ensuring quality and acceptance within committed limits.
- Applying TE or TD rules, processes, and tools to drive domain deliverables excellence.
- Managing production of deliverables in accordance with planning targets.
- Designing products considering project requirements (performances, manufacturability, serviceability, testability, etc.).
- Preparing and documenting Domain Design Reviews.
- Checking respect of allocated volumes/interfaces on internal design.
- Resolving project issues in assigned zones.
- Reporting on domain activities progress and alerting relevant stakeholders in case of issues.
- Respecting and/or allocating requirements and interfaces to sub-systems/equipment.
- Analyzing change request impacts on assigned zones and applying changes if accepted.
- Validating relevant domain deliverables and securing planning.
Contributor for:
- Performing quotation of engineering work-package upon request.
- Defining Project Decomposition (PBS).
- Supporting sourcing, industrialization, and manufacturing teams during production ramp-up.
- Collaborating with MDL for continuous improvement of the domain.
Requirements:
Electrical or Mechanical Engineering degree, preferably applied to Railway products, with 7 to 15 years of experience.
