Contribute to the development of test processes, tools, and methodologies for manual and automated test execution.

Interpret requirements for testability and ensure coverage in test case design.

Presentation of test plans to leads and product owners for approval prior to execution.

Assessment of the impact of design changes to determine the optimal level of testing.

Development of methods and performance of load and performance testing.

Integration of testing with the continuous-integration process.

Troubleshooting mindset, ability to break down a system or process systematically and effectively into subparts to identify failure mechanisms.

Proper analysis and documentation of test results.

Active participation in team retrospectives, recommending and implementing improvements to test strategy and planning.

Excellent time management and prioritization skills.

Ensuring all testing deliverables are of high quality and compliant.

  • Experience in software testing/quality assurance with web-based applications and client-server applications.
  • Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodology.
  • Hands-on experience in manual API testing.

  • Excellent communication (written, verbal, and presentation) skills, and advanced problem-solving orientation and decision-making skills.
  • Working knowledge of the various types of testing, from functional testing to performance and mobile/browser compatibility.
  • A passion for technology with demonstrated ability to learn quickly.
  • Understanding of the web/desktop application development cycle and programming techniques and tools.
  • Excellent project and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently or with a group.
  • Ability to participate in working sessions that result in clear technical requirements and technical design while working with technical, non-technical members.
  • Ability to write Java code for the purposes of testing solution code (e.g., white-box testing).
